Of tooth and nail and blood and bone. Of steel, of soot, of soil, of air and of suffering, Doomblade was forged. By orc cyclops with cross to bear. Of tooth and nail and blood and bone, of steel, of soot, of soil. Of tooth and nail and blood and bone, of steel, of soot, of soil of air and of suffering, a Doomblade was forged. By orc cyclops with cross to bear. Conquest, revenge; desires of orc cyclops. For wounds endured by he and kin. Put to the sword, now he won’t cease ’til Doomblade lashes treacherous skins. Tear the land asunder. Upheaval of each enemy’s grave. Their homelands decimated and plundered and no survivors to enslave. Stab, slice, pummel, thrust, skewer, impale, choke, rip, remove. Innards are now outards. Gaze upon decrepit ruins. Dismembered limbs far as the eye can see. Charred remains of strongholds smoke. Save some human meat for me. Do you like yon skyward spears? Mandibles decorating pikes for fucking miles. Raze a pyre; inhalation of mine enemy's ashes. Prepare for death evisceration. Merciless Doomblade decimation. A covenant of Doomblade and orc cyclops. A union of bloodlust and murderous capacity. A covenant of Doomblade and orc cyclops. Twisted displays of carnal pleasures strewn about; writhing in agony. A covenant of Doomblade and orc cyclops. A moist, gasping, crimson, gaping orgiastic resplendence. Twisted displays of carnal pleasures strewn about. A moist,, crimson, gaping orgiastic resplendence writhing in agony. Prepare for evisceration. Doomblade organ decimation. Do you like yon skyward spears? Mandibles? Decorating pikes for fucking miles. Gaze upon decrepit ruins. All my enemy's will fall. Doomblade orc cyclops.

An eclectic but incredibly well-integrated blend of traditional death metal, melodeath, black metal, progressive, and even a bit of folk (with the added bonus of audible and tasty bass guitar). The album has a consistent, pulverizing momentum punctuated by the rare acoustic passage or catchy chorus/refrain. Overall an unbelievably mature first offering from an up-and-coming band to watch.
